New trick

I discovered a crucial trick today to help boost post production. I have always started by editing color first and pushing saturation. When I adjust contrast, the colors become too vivid and unrealistic. This has been something that has been frustrating me for a while. Today I changed up the order and the pics came out 100% better. I like to push the contrast so you can see the detail and texture in an object. Push contrast first and then adjust the color accordingly. See below:


I wanted to push the contrast so you could get a feeling of the fabric and the smooth body. I pushed the contrast to get this effect, then backed off the color to get a more "vintage" effect.
